Classes: DISD-Secondary School has three classes from grade 5 to 9 and two classes from grade 10 to 12. The classes have a maximum of 22 students student.

Curriculum: We teach according to the Thuringian curriculum. The language of instruction is German. Compulsory second foreign language from grade 6 is French. Under certain conditions, Arabic can be chosen as an additional second foreign language. From grade 8, geography is taught in English and from grade 9, history is taught bilingually in English and German.

Secondary School I (grades 5 through 10):

The 5th grade is considered the orientation level independent of the type of school.

In the 9th grade one can obtain the Hauptschulabschluss and in the 10th grade the Realschulabschluss.

The 10th grade is the introduction to the qualification phase for the Abitur.

Secondary School II (grades 11 and 12):

Qualification Phase for the German International Baccalaureate (DIA)
