At DISD, all classes work with iPads. The goal of digitization at our school is to prepare student students for a successful future. With the iPad, the student students can research current information in class. The devices are lightweight and easy to use. They offer the possibility to create presentations quickly.
There are benefits to using iPads that can be broken down into four areas.
- Teaching digital skills
- Use of digital media to support teaching
- Easy cooperation of student with each other and with the teacher
- Better differentiation and individualization
iPads for classroom use must be purchased privately by families. To ensure that your child's device is easily included in the DISD's Mobile Device Management (MDM) system, we recommend that it be purchased through the vendor JTRS. The MDM system guarantees functionality and security. In addition, through the system, the school provides applications to student*innen for classroom use free of charge.
The JTRS and DISD partnership is commission-free, meaning you get the best price on genuine Apple devices and accessories from JTRS.
