Transparent performance assessment
At DISD, we value fair and transparent performance assessment. Our assessment approach makes individual learning progress visible and focuses on strengths and development potential.

Our assessments
In addition to the usual class tests/exams, tests and presentations, we use various standardized tests to specifically measure and promote skills:

• CAT-4 (Cognitive Abilities Test) - Verbal-logical, quantitative, non-verbal and spatial reasoning (grades 3, 5, 7, 9, 11)
• Online-Diagnose (Westermann) - German, math (grades 2-11), English (from grade 5)
• ABT (Arabic Benchmark Test) - Arabic (grades 4, 6, 8, 10)
• ISBT (Islamic Education Benchmark Test) - Islamic Religious Education Arabic (Grades 4, 6, 8, 10)
