Classes: The DISD SecondarySecondary School has three classes from grade 5 to 9 and two classes from grade 10 to 12. The classes have a maximum of 22 student.

Curriculum: We teach according to the Thuringian curriculum. The language of instruction is German. The compulsory second foreign language from Year 6 is French. Under certain conditions, Arabic can also be chosen as an additional second foreign language. Geography is taught in English from Year 8 and History is taught bilingually in English and German from Year 9.

Secondary School I (grades 5 to 10):

The 5th grade is considered the orientation level independent of school type.

In the 9th grade you can obtain the Hauptschulabschluss and in the 10th grade the Realschulabschluss.

Year 10 is the introduction to the qualification phase for the Abitur.

Secondary School II (grades 11 and 12):

Qualification phase for the German International Baccalaureate (DIA)
