Successful Living Arabic Webinar from the DISD for KHDA What Works.

On 24.06.20, our Arabic department held a lecture (45 minutes) at the KHDA (What Works- Living Arabic) via Microsoft Teams under the title "E-Learning: Yes we can, steps towards success". There were 83 Arabic and Islamic teachers virtually present.

The aim of the webinar was to support and motivate all teachers of Arabic and Islamic Studies from different schools in Dubai in distance learning.

The first steps to successful Arabic distance learning were presented with practical examples of different educational platforms. In addition, various methods of interactive communication with students, taking into account internal differentiation, and positive feedback in class during e-learning were explained.

During the presentation a learning video produced by the Arabic teachers of DISD was shown and praised by many of the KHDA and Arabic and Islamic teachers of different schools in Dubai.

Mr. Ahmed Abdelwahab, Head of our Arabic Department, took the opportunity to thank all DISD Arabic and Islamic Studies teachers for their efforts as well as the DISD digital team for their excellent support during the distance learning phase.

At the end of the presentation, the participating Arabic and Islamic Studies teachers took the opportunity to ask professional questions to the DISD team.
