German-French Day at LIFGP

January 22, 2020

Once again this year, the Franco-German Day, created to mark the anniversary of the Elyse Treaty, took place on January 22. After the DISD had invited last year the students of class 10 of the Lycée Français International Georges Pompidou. this year our grade 10 students had the opportunity to visit the French school. After a really warm welcome, they started with a typical French breakfast, which made them forget the initial language barriers. Afterwards, the DISD students were given a tour of the school. The day was a great success: a quiz about German and French personalities, joint sports activities and as a highlight a lunch with French and German specialties, conjured up by the students themselves. We are very happy about the cooperation with the French school and are enthusiastic about this hospitality.
