We are delighted that you would like to register your child with us. We know how important choosing the right school is for your child's future and would therefore like to provide you with all the necessary information to make this decision easier.
At DISD, we follow the Thuringian curriculum. The school year begins in August and ends in June. Children can be admitted during the school year, subject to availability and compliance with KHDA guidelines. DISD offers a first-class education for children aged 3 to 18, from kindergarten to grade 12. In addition to the German International Baccalaureate, we also offer the Hauptschulabschluss and the Mittlere Deutsche Schulabschluss (Realschule).
Anmeldung für das nächste Schuljahr 2026/27 nehmen wir erst ab März 2026 entgegen.
How to start the registration process.
There are currently only limited places available at DISD in certain year groups. Please contact us for information on grade availability.

Eltern haben die Möglichkeit, uns Montag bis Donnerstag von 8:00 bis 15:00 Uhr sowie freitags von 8:00 bis 12:00 Uhr persönlich zu erreichen.
