How to register your child

We will be accepting registrations for the 2026/27 school year starting in March 2026.

We offer consultation hours on the topic of registration every Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Please make an appointment in advance by emailing admissions@germanschool.ae.

The following applies for thecurrent school year

  • Kindergarten:Registrations will continue to be acceptedas long as places are available.
  • Primary School grades 1–4):No further registrations will be accepted for the current school year 2025/26. Applications for the school year 2026/27 are now being accepted.
  • Secondary School from grade 5): Registrations will only be accepted untilthe end of February, provided that places are available and the admission criteria are met. Thelatest possible start dateis thesecond week of March.

To register your child, we require the documents listed below. You can send these directly by email. In addition, you must pay a registration fee of AED 525 (including VAT) per child. The registration fee can be paid in cash or by bank transfer.

Necessary documents

Please prepare the following documents for online registration:
  • Passport of the child and parents
  • Birth certificate of the child in German, English or Arabic
  • Proof of custody, if applicable (if parents are divorced/separated)
  • Vaccination record of the child
  • last three annual reports
  • Emirates ID (front and back) of the child and the parents. If your family's Emirates ID is still being processed, it must be submitted as soon as it is issued in accordance with official requirements.

Once you have submitted all the necessary documents, you will receive an invoice for the registration fee from our accounting department within 1-2 working days. Please note that your application will not be processed until the application fee has been paid. We will then inform you about the next steps (e.g. placement test, etc.).
