Age requirements

The German International School Dubai follows the KHDA age requirements for student starting in Pre-KG (1st year of Kindergarten). The child must be 3 years old by August 31st. This regulation applies to all new student in Pre-KG up to Grade 1. All other student must have reached the age listed next to the grade level for the academic year and provide an appropriate transfer transcript.

To help students from a non-German curriculum, please refer to the table below as a guide to which class they should apply to. Further clarification will be provided by the Admission Team and the relevant Education Authority.
