During the week of January 10-14, DISD Kindergarten will be in distance learning.
Welcome to the info page of our Kindergarten Distance Learning program
In accordance with the German system, distance learning at the German International School Dubai Kindergarten focuses on the support of the German language and the maintenance of established social contacts in mixed-age groups – at the same time we teach the contents of the Thuringian education plan.
Our Daily Plan gives your child different opportunities for contact with their teacher in a clearly structured day.

Here you will find various tutorials from the distance learning period of the last school year. Thereby we promote the German language, motor skills and creativity of our kindergarten children from a distance – with crafting, experimenting or experiencing great stories together.
Meet with Mr. Preiß
Our Head of Kindergarten Matthias Preiß invites the DISD-Kindergarten parents to join the open session on ZOOM to ask questions and give feedback.
It takes place every Sunday, at 8pm.

Exercise & Sports…
For additional, individual physical activity sessions, we recommend the sports videos from last school year’s distance learning class. We offer easy and fun exercises for our kindergarteners, designed by our DISD Sports Coordinators.

DaF (German as Foreign Language)
We also offer DaF (German as foreign language) in our Distance Learning program. The lessons will be allotted individually to your child by your the DaF teacher.
In our DISD Kindergarten Distance Learning program the pre-school takes place as usual on the respective pre-school days.
We have established four service areas to be able to respond quickly and competently to your concerns and feedback.
